I specialize in trauma treatment but am also passionate about mindfulness, meditation and cognitive approaches in therapy. I’m always seeking to learn more in order to become both a better counselor and person.
I am also working on writing a better bio for myself.
I began my private practice almost 2 years ago and have been working with Cardinal Point during this time. I spent 3 years working primarily with children and teens who have experienced trauma. Prior to that I worked with female trauma survivors, with an emphasis on relationships and family but also self-esteem, personality disorders, addiction, eating disorders, and self-care. I have also spent years as a victim’s advocate providing emotional support for victims of sexual assault and done work to prevent suicide as a member of different organizations.
I am always seeking to learn more ways to support adults with mental health holistically.

Like many, my life has been a journey of ups and downs to get me to where I am today. One of my greatest challenges was putting myself through college as a single parent. It’s an accomplishment I take great pride in and though there were many times when I wanted to give up, I kept going because I had help. I believe that no matter what life throws at us, with the right support, we can persevere and find healing. The challenges I have faced led me to my life’s purpose; to help others overcome their obstacles and become healthier individuals. My expertise combined with a relaxed style and down to earth approach allow clients to fully engage in a calm, safe, and transforming healing experience. With compassion and an open mind, I meet clients where they’re at to work toward their goals. I view therapy as a process we navigate together.
